I want to thank Pastor Kerrigan and his lovely wife Michelle for all the endless hours of work they put into Gethsemane. They work tirelessly 24/7, to help the poor and the needy in the community. I know because I lived directly across the road from them for four years and was amazed that Pastor’s study light was still on at 2, 3, 4 in the mornings

Gethsemane is the best. The staff and volunteers are so cheerful and loving all the time. You always receive a warm welcome with coffer, tea and something to nibble on, and especially a big warm hug from the receptionist every time, it is so welcoming. The volunteers are always happy and smiling ready to chat at any time, and also to listen to your story as well. Pastor Kerrigan is always ready to talk and discuss anything with you, and together with his smiling face it is such a pleasure to visit this Charity. Praise the Lord for his supply. This man ("mind you" NEVER without a smile on his face NEVER) my Pastor is the most Honest Genuine most Transparent "Gentleman" you could ever know. He treats every single person exactly the same with a (genuine love) for people just like Jesus would, and spreading the Gospel of God to all the community without any favouritism whatsoever. A true shepherd of the Lord. Your best award is in Heaven

For those who have not heard of this charity group, Gethsemane is a Christian group; wonderful people with big hearts that serve the community providing fresh produce and with other donations, as well as helping those in need of bigger items like furniture too. The biggest thing they give though is their time and love…They give selflessly to the community their time, hours on end of driving, packing, serving and always with big smiles and open hearts. The list goes on. They use their personal expenses to keep the charity going for everyone else in the community - they give for FREE. I’d love for them to receive a grant to help them continue doing everything they do. I’m sure it would be a blessing for them. I was at the end of my tether. I had given up on life. And then I entered the world of Gethsemane. My life is now filled with purpose and I feel valued like I’ve never felt before.

They are a great Church with limited resources helping the community

I personally don’t go to church, but I support the work these people do. Not because they belong to any particular religion, but because they share their humanity without asking for anything other than a smile. We could all be so lucky to be embraced rather than ridiculed.
